This place is new and the staff are really amazing and are working hard to make your stay pleasurable. The lady there is even learning english to try be a better hostess.
The hostel is good value for money and the breakfasts are filling and tasty. The social area on the balcony is really good and has chairs, a table and some hammocks to chill and meet people. The kitchen is a bit small but will test your creative cooking skills as a traveller if you use it.
The hostel is only one block from the main plaza and a 10min walk to the ruins (which i'd suggest going to early to avoid the crowds)
Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hostel and it's lovely staff.
Best Value Hotel in Copan Ruinas

The Mar Jenny Hotel is the best value hotel in Copan Ruinas. The proprietor, Jose, and his son will pick you up from the bus stop in their pickup truck and drive you the short (but uphill) 5 blocks to their hotel. They don't have dorms, but their private rooms are $10 USD for a double. They have hot water, and the Wi-Fi is super fast! The hotel is 2 blocks north of the parque central on Avenida Mirador. During low season, Jose might offer to drive you to the ruins.

I LOVE this place... Family run and they are amazing!!! Dorms are on the rooftop 4 stories up... The most amazing view from the rooftop... Common area and free kitchen on the roof as well... They will more than likely be there when the bus comes in for transport. They can set up all kinds of tours and transport to surrounding attractions...
Free coffee, water, internet... In house laundry service as well...
Dorms were $6, private $10... But the rooftop dorms make the privates seem silly.... Great bars across the street, mini super next door, 2 blocks from central park area...

Very cool, huge outdoor area with fruit trees, tons of rabbits (pets) running around... Free water, kitchen, free bikes, free kayaks, 2 min walk to beach. This hostel is big and laid out all over the property... Dorms have there own common outdoor area with kitchen attached. Several Private room bldgs spread out over the property, you can put up a hammock or use a tent... Dorms $5, Tent\hammock $3... Owner is Swiss and very knowledgeable and friendly... They also sell cheap beer, but dont allow any hard liquor...

First and foremost, this is the CLEANEST hostel I have ever stayed in!!! Literally, if you use the shower, they clean it after each person... Its nuts... That being said, its a great hostel... Probably the most modern kitchen for use Ive seen in a hostel... They sell beer, and have no problem if you bring in your own liquor... The dorms are huge with MASSIVE bunk beds... Great area for washing clothes, chill out area with TV and massive community style tables... Relaxed vibe... Dorms $6.....
