A small backpack that will fit in the ryan air carry on will save you heaps in flights around europe, save your back whilst roaming cities and mean that you can spontaeously buy an outfit to suit the country you are travelling! Besides, this is Europe, not Africa and around every second corner you will be able to buy what you need, whether it be dancing shoes or camera batteries.
