This is a nice hostel close to central market. It is on Ave 2 and Calle 24. It has flat screen TVs, pool table, and outdoor kitchen. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I paid $40 for a private room for 2 people. It list about 8 blocks from central market and 5 blocks from parque de merced. Good location. Cons: No A/C, road noise, and leaks during rain.
