The Ima Hogg house off Memorial Drive at Westcott is the former home of philanthropist Miss Ima Hogg, the only daughter of Texas Governor Jim Hogg. The house, built in the 1920s, is located along Buffalo Bayou and is gorgeous. Part of the home houses one of the nation's finest collections of Early American art, paintings and antiques. You can also visit the many gardens on the estate. The Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens are open year round and are maintained by the Houston Museum of Fine Arts.
