Unless you've got a big group willing to jam into a motel room, it is difficult to get a cheap place to stay in Marfa. But if you're willing to camp, you can get a campsite with proper shower, bathroom, and kitchen facilities for just $12 per person. You will have to provide your own tent and stuff, but its way cheaper than paying for a hotel room.
