Doing the Civil Rights Museum and Graceland in one day will be tough

The history of slavery and the civil rights movement in the United States is a long, long, long history. If you try to see all exhibits, including the building next door where James Earl Ray is believed to have shot MLK, you will likely spend a good 4-5 hours at the museum. Though Graceland is only a 15-minute drive away (maybe longer by rail), when factoring in lunch, it may be difficult to squeeze both in on the same day.
