Where to drink beer
by Illhangaround about 7 years ago

So everyone says that Belgium is all about the beer. But WHERE you drink beer is more important. Every pub has a little story and a special ambiance, but my favourite places where we had the best beer was in Gent, Het Spjiker [Pensmarkt 3 ] and Antwerpen, De Muze [Melkmarkt 10].

There was a great mix of old and young, awesome music, and a definite reason to go back to both Gent and Antwerpen!

Packing tip: B.I.T.
by Sofie of wonderfulwanderings.com about 6 years ago

B.I.T. or Buy It There is the concept you have to pack by. It's hard, especially for girls (I know, I am one). Don't pack thinking: "I'm going to take my whole medicine cabin with me, just in case", or "I'm going to take an extra pare of paints with me, just in case". Just pack those things you're sure of you're going to use.
A lot of people pack so many extras and end up using none of them while traveling. And even if you would happen to need something that you didn't pack, you can always Buy It There.
