Bus 18

Jerusalem is an easy city to know, but one bus that can take you pretty much everywhere you need to is the 18. You can start the tour on the Central Bus Station, get down in Mahane Yehuda where you will experience one of the best markets in the world. Get over again and get down in Schlomozion HaMalka, that street will take you directly to 4 hotspots: Ben Yehuda, Hillel, Jaffa and Mamilla.
Start going up the street to get in Ben Yehuda, there you can have shopping, locals, and tourists. Then go to Hillel where you will find any kind of restaurant and coffee shop.
Go back and stop on Jaffa, where the tram is, you will find more shops and restaurants, but also the entrance to Mamilla and the Old City. Mamilla is a modern and expensive place where you can walk, do some couture shopping and have a dessert maybe, while you walk to the Old City and find the shuk that will take you to the Jewish, Christian or Islamic Quarter. Keep going on the bus. (Emek Refaim, Malcha Mall).
