Camp Marfa at El Cosmico
by Mattfromtexas about 6 years ago

Unless you've got a big group willing to jam into a motel room, it is difficult to get a cheap place to stay in Marfa. But if you're willing to camp, you can get a campsite with proper shower, bathroom, and kitchen facilities for just $12 per person. You will have to provide your own tent and stuff, but its way cheaper than paying for a hotel room. This place is also super cool because they also rent out antique trailers converted into hotel rooms and they have tee-pees. Check them out at http://elcosmico.com/.

Museum of Electronic Wonders and Late Night Grilled Cheese

I hate to try and describe this place because not knowing what to expect when you walk in is half of what makes the experience so awesome. So, in the interest of preserving your ability to love this place as much as I do, just know that you can get awesome grilled cheese sandwiches and a late night dining experience you will always remember. They are only open late, like after 10pm, so schedule your stop here after a night of live music at Padre's.
