BF Helps Build Aqueduct in Embera Community
by Admin on October 19, 2011
A few days ago, we had the opportunity to visit a Peace Corps site in Maje, Panama. With luck, we arrived on a "work day" and were able to lend a hand in constructing a river aqueduct in a small Embera community on the Rio Maje. The new aqueduct will provide an extra source of water to help get the community through the dry season. Thanks to Alan for hosting us, letting us help, and for sharing his secret campo pad thai recipe with us. Let's just say it involves ramen and peanut butter. Yummm!
